World Cup Racing is the showcase of competitive MTB Sport. An Olympic discipline since more than a decade, MTB racing as since not developed and many issues remain to be improved in order to increase the attractivity of our sport for the athletes, the public and the media. In our view, the main issues are:

* Media presence to be improved

* Too many participants in certain competitions

* No equity of chances (starting grid)

* No motivation for U23- and "2nd row“ athletes
* Not enough opportunities of presentation for teams and riders

* Point system awarded in several races does not reflect the true performance of the athletes

Therefore, we created this website to openly discuss how to improve the racing aspect of our sport and thereby

* Improve the presence of MTB in the media

* Provide a fair opportunity to compete at suitable level for each athlete
* Give young athletes a possibility to improve and develop

* Make MTB a spectator AND participant sport

Several topics emerge from these issues, those are discussed in the subsections linked on the right and on the top of this page.
We hope to stimulate a discussion within all stakeholders of our sport (athletes, teams, federations, media) on these issues and provide our gouverning body UCI with some creative ideas to shape the future of our sport. Well will update the site with the comments and suggestions we will get over the time.
